A company born from a chisel and a passion.
It has grown generation after generation, remaining true to
artisanal precision while embracing technological innovation.
Bartoli Incisioni was founded in 1940 by its founder, Mr. Marcello, a goldsmith and engraver. Driven by a deep passion for craftsmanship and an almost obsessive attention to detail, Marcello built a workshop from the ground up capable of delivering the highest quality in every piece of work.
From a single burin to the first workshop tools, every choice stemmed from a love for the craft. This legacy continues to guide every decision the company makes today, from the selection of materials to how it builds relationships with customers.
The location in Lunata, in the heart of the Lucca plain, was no accident: the region had already a centuries-long tradition of manufacturing excellence. Bartoli became an integral part of it, growing alongside the region.
The founder. A trained goldsmith and engraver, he brings to his work the meticulous craftsmanship and aesthetic sensibility characteristic of the Tuscan goldsmithing tradition. He built the workshop from scratch and established the values that still guide the company today.
The consolidator. Under his leadership, the company embraced new technologies without compromising on artisanal quality. He introduced CNC machinery, expanded into the labeling sector, and took Bartoli Incisioni to an industrial scale.
Total integration. Optimized management of all production flows, from order receipt to delivery. Digital technology and advanced printing complement traditional mechanical engraving to meet every need of the Italian manufacturing sector.
From the artisan workshop to CNC machining centers: a journey of growth that has never lost sight of quality as a core value.
Mr. Marcello, a goldsmith and engraver, founded the company in Lunata (Lucca). It began as an artisan workshop specializing in hand engraving on metals.
The company took its first steps in manufacturing: punches, moulds and plates for footwear. This marked the beginning of the specialisation that still lies at the heart of the business today.
Under Mr. Alessandro’s leadership, the first modern technologies were introduced. The label division (reels of satin, PVC, and paper) was established, along with the first numerically controlled machines for mechanical engraving and paper processing.
The third generation manages every stage of the process in an integrated manner: from design to delivery. Advanced CNC technology, digital printing, and thermal transfer coexist with the traditional craftsmanship of our origins.
